An evening to honour the earth and celebrate the power of the natural elements.
From a 19th century celebration of the river as a source of life to cinematic adventures across high seas, culminating in the explosive sounds of the Vesuvius eruption in Pompeii, we see how men bluster and impose their will on nature, yet show the fragility of life at the mercy of the elements.
Join us for the world premieres of two new Australian compositions commissioned by VYSO that grapple with the power of the wild elements and the changing world.
